Theme description: Pick a song and craft it: you can be as literal or figurative as you want to be. Stencil the lyrics, craft an image from the song (strawberry fields?)… however you want to interpret your song into craft form, do it.

Theme description: The theme for September’s contest is Retro Fashion. It’s gonna be swell, bitchin’, and possibly tubular. Groovy. Make something inspired by a particular fashion era- reconstruct a vintage dress, use a vintage pattern, etc. You can make clothing or accessories, and use any time period as inspiration that you want.

July 2007 Contest Theme: anything goes
Theme description: This time around, the only rule is that there are no rules. And that rulez!! The 4th of July is Independence Day (in the US, at least), so in the spirit of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Craftiness, President Smarmy has issued a decree allowing you to exercise your crafty freedom. In other words, any handmade item is eligible.
