Tools and Materials:
sewing machine capable of sewing a zig-zag stitch
1 yard of woven fabric for the bodice and skirt.
1 yard of contrasting woven fabric for the waistband, waist ties, halter straps, and top trim.
2.75 yards of ruffle trim or double-fold bias tape for the hem. (Or you can make your own.)
