What inspired you to start Zahoomi?

I started Zahoomi after attending numerous craft fairs and seeing that it was hard for the local buyers to contact the local sellers once the fairs/markets were over. Also a constant theme I was hearing was how the popular platforms were exceedingly saturated and it was hard for anyone to actually display their products without spending a lot of money. Hence Zahoomi was born!

What makes Zahoomi different from other handmade venues?

The way Zahoomi works is that when you open the site, stores closest to you are shown first and then gradually the farther ones. It was one of the ways that we hope to connect the local buyers to the local sellers. This was our part in trying to help the local economy by showcasing the local sellers first!
