Designed to be sewn with stretch knit fabrics - the perfect pattern for reconstructing old t-shirts! You can make these gloves in any stretch knit fabric you'd like - cotton spandex, rayon, silk, even stretch lace or mesh. The possibilities are endless.
In addition to the pattern pieces, you will receive instructions for printing and assembling the paper pattern and assembling the gloves. The instructions feature full color photographs.
There are 3 sizes included with this pattern.
Forearm sizes: 8" through 13"
Easy - This pattern would make a great starter project for a beginner. And it's a great quick-and-easy project for a more experienced seamstress.
Tools and Materials:
sewing machine capable of sewing a zig-zag stitch
1/3 yard of stretch knit fabric (or a t-shirt) for the glove base.
1/9 yard of stretch knit fabric with spandex or lycra content for trim.
