Things might be a bit quiet over here for a few days, as I am armpit-deep in fabric while I move my studio (and the rest of our house) to the NEW house. But rest assured that I have lots of awesome in store for WhatTheCraft in 2012!

On your website about “attaching set in sleeves – the easy cheater way”, I already knew how to do this method. That is okay, alot of people do not – so thank you the instructions. I have a question that I was hoping you could give me some advise on. I do alot of sewing as well. But I can not figure out how to do this! I made a pattern for a dog coat that uses this type of sleeve (as you instructed). I am having problems figuring out how to fix the “cuff” of the sleeve where there will not be any unfinished seams. The coat has a Sherpa lining and I want the sherpa lining to stick-out from the sleeve an extra 1/2 or 3/4 inches. I look forward to hearing from you. Good luck on your moving to your new home.
I would make the sleeve lining 1″ to 1.5″ longer than the outer sleeve. Once it’s attached, it should stick out the extra length you want.
